HISTORY



TRENKLE GMBH






1956

Horst Trenkle starts his carrier after his vocational training as a locksmith for underground trains in Bochum, Germany.



1964


Horst Trenkle passes his mastership examination with honors in Munich, Germany.



1974

Horst Trenkle founds the locksmith’s shop „Schlosserei Trenkle“ in Walpertshofen close to Dachau, Germany, and starts with ironwork and smithery. Steel and glass become as his most important construction materials.



1984

Foundation of Horst Trenkle GmbH.



1985

His son Martin Trenkle joins the company. He has a degree in industrial engineering.



1990

The „Trenkle“ patent for lift shaft glazing is granted.



1991

Martin Trenkle undergoes further training to become a European Welding Engineer.


1995

Move to an own company building with an engineering office – combining administration and production with state- of-the-art technical equipment on a surface area of 1.300 square meters .



2000

Martin Trenkle becomes part of management and the company is renamed toTrenkle GmbH. Another 2.450 ssquare meters are added by acquiring a building next door



2001

Horst Trenkle retires from his position as managing director, but stays on in an advisory capacity.



2005

Trenkle GmbH becomes more and more specialized in metal engineering projects.



2010

Start of development of a machine for hydraulic cylinder maintenance.



2013

First prototype of an assembly machine for hydraulic cylinders is finished.

Patent application for ZYLFIX



2014

Prototype introduced at reference customer ZEPPELIN Baumaschinen GmbH at their site in Garching, Germany. After months of successful flawless productive operation, series production is started.



2015

ZYLFIX patent is granted.

The first five ZYLFIX 50-6000 machines are shipped.

Application for a PCT patent (international).



2016

EP patent granted (EU).



2016-2018

ZYLFIX patent granted in several countries all over the world.



2017

Another five ZYLFIX 50-6000 machines are shipped. The department “Engineering office for planning and manufacturing tasks” conducts first projects.



2018

Special tool inserts for the ZYLFIX machine are developed to be equipped for new business models.
